Front Line Defenders seeks experienced Grants Manager – deadline for applications 8 August 2014

Front Line – The International Foundation for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders seeks a full time grants manager to lead the organisation’s engagement with its funding partners.

This position will include:

Oversight and management of the organisation’s funding portfolio of circa 30 funding partners.
The routine provision of timely narrative & financial reporting of excellent quality
Ongoing engagement with established institutional funding partners which include Government Ministries and private foundations based throughout Europe, the US and elsewhere.
Management of all donor agreements within the context of the organisation’s database.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in grant writing and donor engagement, excellent writing and inter-personal skills, experience in drafting budgets and financial reporting and will be able to manage and meet multiple deadlines.

The position of Grants Manager is full-time and will initially be a one-year contract. This may be extended to become a time-unlimited contract.

Interviews are likely to be held at Front Line Defenders’ Blackrock Office on the second week of August.

Preferred starting date of assignment is end of August / early September 2014.
